A deceased man was discovered on Rottingdean beach in Brighton, adding to the recent sorrow in the seaside community following the tragic deaths of three sisters a couple of weeks ago. Sussex Police confirmed the finding of the man’s body on Friday morning, with investigations ongoing to establish his identity and the circumstances surrounding his death.
The three sisters, Jane Adetoro, Christina Walters, and Rebecca Walters, were tragically found dead in the sea near Madeira Drive on May 13. Post-mortem examinations revealed that the cause of their deaths is still undetermined. During the inquest into their deaths held at Woodvale in Brighton, the senior coroner expressed condolences to the sisters’ father, Joseph Jacobson, acknowledging the immense loss he must be experiencing.
Details shared at the inquest indicated that medical inquiries are still in progress to determine the exact cause of death for the three women. However, authorities have ruled out any external involvement in the incident. The sisters, who resided together in Greenford, west London, had unspecified occupations.
The coroner emphasized the importance of avoiding speculation on social media regarding the circumstances of the sisters’ deaths and adjourned the inquest to reconvene on October 8. Mr. Jacobson, in a statement through Sussex Police, remembered his daughters fondly, highlighting their individuality and the lasting impact they had on their family.
A fundraising page set up by the family to cover funeral expenses and provide support has garnered nearly £44,000 in donations.
