Woman’s Near-Death Journey: Hell to Heaven

A woman shares her astonishing experience of spending 18 days in a coma following lung failure, where she believes she encountered the afterlife. Kathy McDaniel, aged 53 at the time, was placed in a medically-induced coma due to severe lung issues.

During her coma, Kathy describes being thrust into a void and then into a nightmarish place she identifies as Hell. She vividly recalls the terrifying environment she faced during her time there, filled with darkness, heat, and unsettling experiences.

Despite being administered strong sedatives and amnesic drugs during her hospitalization in 1999, Kathy remembers awakening in a surreal realm instead of experiencing complete memory suppression. She recounts initially being in darkness and then being confronted by a commanding voice questioning her whereabouts, leading to her realization that she was in a distressing place.

Kathy shares her encounters with demonic entities in this realm, including being coerced to perform futile tasks by a judge-like figure resembling a demon. Despite the despair she faced, Kathy maintained hope and a fighting spirit, determined to escape the torment.

After what felt like an extended period, Kathy found herself in a freezing landscape and eventually experienced a profound sense of love and peace, transitioning into what she perceived as Heaven. There, she was reunited with her former fiancé, Rick, in a beautiful setting filled with light and tranquility.

Upon being informed that she had more to accomplish and could not stay in the heavenly place, Kathy awoke from her coma after 18 days in the hospital. Despite facing skepticism and disbelief from some individuals regarding her account, Kathy views her journey as a transformative experience, leading her to appreciate life and embrace spiritual awakening.

Kathy has since shared her remarkable story in a memoir titled “Misfit in Hell to Heaven Expat” and now assists others who have undergone near-death experiences. She emphasizes the importance of acceptance and spiritual growth, no longer fearing death and finding renewed faith in a higher power.
