Donald Trump utilized his Freedom 250 speech on Independence Day to highlight America’s military actions against Iran. The President of the United States asserted that Venezuela and Iran had been eradicated as he finally addressed the large crowd in Washington DC after a postponement due to adverse weather conditions.
Upon taking the stage, he proclaimed, “We are currently performing better than ever before. Across the globe, they strive to emulate us – but no one can truly replicate our ways. Live free or face the consequences,” he continued.
In a strong statement against communism, he emphasized, “All these communist talks are futile. We reject communism in our nation; it has never succeeded and never will.”
Trump further stated, “We will always maintain our supremacy – we will never allow our nation to falter. We will always stand as the best. Look at Venezuela, look at Iran – we have neutralized them. We have decimated their military.”
Addressing a recent military achievement, he mentioned, “Our recent triumph…sinking all Iranian ships to the depths of the sea. Swift and decisive action, showcasing our unparalleled military strength.”
During his speech, he touched upon safeguarding the second amendment, the right to bear arms, throughout his presidency. The crowd erupted in chants of ‘USA, USA, USA’ repeatedly during his address.
The President honored multiple American war veterans and displayed flags from various historical periods. He likened communism to a cancer that must be swiftly removed.
Inclement weather disrupted America’s 250th Independence Day celebrations, necessitating a two-hour evacuation of the National Mall due to storms.
“I won’t let a bit of rain halt our 250th celebration,” Trump affirmed in a social media update, confirming his determination to proceed with his speech.
Attendees were urged to evacuate immediately, with Secret Service agents instructing hesitant individuals to move swiftly. The severe weather conditions mandated the evacuation and seeking of shelter for all present.
“You were told it was over, and what did you do? You came back,” Trump remarked to the audience.
