A man and two children were airlifted to the hospital following a swimming incident at a Margate beach. The emergency response was initiated after receiving a distress call around 4:30 pm on Saturday at Main Sands beach. Reports indicated that a group of swimmers encountered challenges near the boating pool area, prompting the dispatch of an air ambulance and coastguard helicopter to the scene.
Eyewitnesses mentioned that a child was rescued from the water before the arrival of emergency teams.
