Rescue teams are currently conducting a search operation off the coast of Wales for a man who disappeared while on a rock climbing excursion.
Authorities have mobilized a boat and helicopter from the coastguard to locate the missing individual, identified only as Ben, believed to be a resident of St. Davids.
The search effort is focused on Pembrokeshire’s coastline after Ben, aged 47, was last heard from by his family around midday on Wednesday, as reported by the police.
Reports suggest that Ben may have been planning to go rock climbing in either the Carreg y Barcud area near Trelerw or Caer Bwdy Bay outside St. Davids.
According to Dyfed-Powys Police, Ben is described as approximately 5ft 11in tall, with an athletic build, short brown/greying hair, and brown eyes. He was carrying an orange bag and wearing black climbing shoes with an orange strap when he went missing.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have encountered or communicated with Ben after midday on Wednesday to contact them immediately.
