Russian Drones Target Coca-Cola Plant in Ukraine

Russian drones targeted and caused damage to a Coca-Cola facility near Kyiv, as confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The attack took place close to the town of Brovary, resulting in no reported injuries. Zelenskyy expressed that the use of Iranian-designed drones by the Russians to ignite the Coca-Cola plant sends a clear message, indicating awareness of its American ownership.

Footage from Reuters TV displayed firefighting teams responding to the incident, with smoke billowing from the plant and spreading across the surrounding fields. Andy Hunder, the president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, assured that the plant’s employees were unharmed and that efforts were underway to evaluate the situation while prioritizing the safety of individuals.

The assault on the Coca-Cola plant is a part of the ongoing conflict that began with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, leading to a continuous state of war between the two nations.
