Senior members of the royal family gathered on a rainy June day to celebrate the wedding of Peter Phillips to NHS nurse Harriet Sperling in a small and private ceremony. The King and Queen, along with other prominent royal family members, attended the nuptials at All Saints Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire. The bride looked stunning in a floor-length lace gown designed by Emilia Wickstead and adorned with the Pragnell family tiara.
Among the guests were the Prince and Princess of Wales, Zara and Mike Tindall with their daughters, while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were notably absent. Despite maintaining a low public profile due to controversies surrounding their father, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice arrived at the wedding with their spouses.
As the King and Queen made their entrance, members of the public cheered, and the crowd erupted in cheers when the bride, accompanied by her three bridesmaids – Savannah and Isla, Peter Phillips’s daughters, and Georgina, Harriet Sperling’s teenage daughter, appeared. The couple posed for photographs outside the church in the rain and shared a kiss in their car after the ceremony.
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie arrived at the church, with King Charles greeting royal fans as he made his way to the ceremony. Harriet Sperling arrived at the church with her bridesmaids, Kate Middleton stepped out of a car upon arrival, and Queen Camilla waved to well-wishers before the ceremony commenced.
Inside All Saints Church, beautiful floral arrangements adorned the venue following the wedding ceremony. Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice arrived with their husbands, and Princess Anne donned a yellow outfit for the occasion. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were also present to celebrate the newlyweds, who joyfully drove away after the wedding ceremony. Zara Tindall, the groom’s sister, was in attendance, while a local resident climbed a ladder over a garden fence to catch a glimpse of the royal guests.
