“Rock League 2026-27 Schedule Update: Halifax Out, Red Deer In!”

The Curling Group revealed an updated schedule for the 2026-27 Rock League on Thursday, announcing the removal of the Halifax event previously slated for Jan. 14-17 at Scotiabank Centre. Instead, a competition will now take place on April 8-11 at the Servus Arena in Red Deer, Alberta.

Furthermore, the Curling Group disclosed that the league’s second edition will conclude with a championship event scheduled for April 15-18 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The previously confirmed events in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan (Jan. 7-10), Utica, New York (Jan. 28-31), and Ottawa (Feb. 4-7) remain unchanged on the calendar, which was initially planned for release on Wednesday.

The Curling Group, which acquired the Grand Slam of Curling series in 2024, has a history of making last-minute adjustments to the Rock League schedule. Originally intended as a six-week international campaign, the inaugural season was eventually condensed into a single week of competition in St. Paul, Minnesota. Subsequently, the venue was shifted to Toronto.
