“Iranian Missile Attack Injures Americans at Kuwaiti Base”

An Iranian ballistic missile has been fired towards a Kuwaiti air base, resulting in injuries to multiple Americans due to falling debris.

Reports indicate that the attack caused significant damage to two US MQ-9 Reaper drones at the Ali Al Salem air base. Kuwait’s air defenses successfully intercepted the incoming Fateh-110 missile, but debris from the interception hit the base, causing injuries to approximately five individuals, including contractors and active duty personnel with minor injuries.

The incident led to the destruction of one MQ-9 Reaper drone, with another sustaining serious damage. Each drone is estimated to cost around $30 million. This comes as the US expresses readiness to engage in conflict with Iran if a peace agreement cannot be reached. Negotiations between Washington and Tehran resumed recently in hopes of prolonging the ceasefire for 60 days and initiating discussions on Iran’s nuclear program.

However, after several hours of talks, negotiations came to a standstill without reaching a deal. An Iranian official criticized the US negotiating team for their inconsistent demands, stating that a finalized deal seems unattainable. US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth emphasized the military’s preparedness to resume conflict if necessary, reassuring that stockpiles are strategically positioned for potential engagements worldwide.
