The UK Health Security Agency has warned of record heat-related deaths, with reports estimating thousands of casualties during recent heatwaves, partly attributed to climate change.
Despite a slight temperature decrease and anticipated drizzle this weekend, meteorologists predict the precipitation won’t be sufficient to alleviate the drought conditions. The ongoing Suffolk wildfire has forced evacuations, with some families having to flee without essentials like shoes. Emergency responders are working tirelessly to contain the blaze, which may continue for another 48 hours despite extensive firefighting efforts.
