“Child Attacked by Stray Cow Rescued by Locals in Delhi”

A young boy is recuperating at his residence following an attack by a stray cow while he was playing in the neighborhood. The alarming incident occurred on June 19, with footage capturing the terrifying moment when the cow pursued the child, knocking him down and causing him distress. The boy’s footwear was flung off as the cow repeatedly nudged him with its horns.

Fortunately, alert locals rushed to his aid upon hearing his cries. One brave individual grabbed the discarded footwear and used it to deter the cow before carrying the child to safety with the assistance of others. As the cow, accompanied by another, gave chase down the narrow pathway, a dramatic sequence unfolded.

Despite a stumble, the rescuer shielded the boy from further harm as the cow made further attempts to harm them. Subsequently, another person intervened and successfully drove the animals away from the scene.

The distressing incident transpired in the Tughlakabad area of New Delhi, India, on June 19. Authorities promptly apprehended both animals and relocated them to a goshala, a shelter for stray cows, in Delhi’s Rewla Khanpur vicinity.

An official source informed local media outlets that the child sustained injuries during the altercation but is currently recuperating. Local officials emphasized the escalating presence of stray cattle in the region, attributing it to the proliferation of illicit dairies. They have vowed to take action against these unauthorized businesses and the negligent cattle owners permitting their animals to roam freely on public thoroughfares.
