Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne has revealed that the government is set to present its latest budget on November 5th. This upcoming budget will mark the second fiscal plan introduced during Prime Minister Mark Carney’s tenure and the second consecutive budget to be unveiled in the autumn. Traditionally, the federal budget was presented in the spring before Carney initiated the switch to a fall budget tabling last year.
