Apple has introduced AppleCare One in the UK, allowing customers with multiple Apple devices to protect them under a single plan. This subscription, previously launched in the US, is now available in the UK for £16.99 per month, covering up to three devices such as iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches. AppleCare One offers repair services or up to three replacements per year for accidental damages, losses, or thefts.
Unlike the existing AppleCare+ plan, AppleCare One enables customers to safeguard multiple products under one subscription, potentially leading to cost savings. Apple highlights that individuals covering an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch could save up to £11.48 per month compared to purchasing separate AppleCare+ plans for each device.
One notable advantage of AppleCare One is the ability to add eligible devices up to four years old to the plan, provided they are in good condition. This flexibility extends coverage beyond the typical 60-day window for purchasing AppleCare+ after acquiring a device.
Apple emphasizes the convenience of AppleCare One by automatically adjusting the plan when upgrading devices. If a covered device is traded in for a new one directly from Apple, the old product is removed from the subscription, and the new device is seamlessly added without extra hassle.
Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, expressed Apple’s commitment to delivering exceptional experiences with AppleCare One. He highlighted the simplicity and flexibility of the plan, stating that customers can enjoy the trusted protection of AppleCare+ with peace of mind, knowing that all their eligible products are covered under one plan and price.
