Calgary Man Arrested for Threatening PM Carney

A 31-year-old man from Calgary has been arrested and charged for allegedly making threats to harm Prime Minister Mark Carney. Jamie Dacosta is facing one charge of uttering threats following information received by the RCMP’s National Security Enforcement Team (INSET) in July. The authorities were informed about a YouTube account that had posted a death threat against the prime minister. Dacosta is currently in police custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Calgary on Tuesday.
