The Caswell County Sherriff’s Office reported that they received a distress call before 8 am local time at 352 Brooks Road in Prospect Hill. Upon their arrival, law enforcement officers discovered several individuals who had sustained gunshot wounds, although the exact number of victims was not disclosed.
One person with a gunshot injury was transported to Duke University Hospital, while the police confirmed the presence of multiple fatalities.
