A British man, Kyle Campbell, tragically passed away in his sleep just days before his scheduled wedding in Thailand. Campbell, 32, from Westhoughton, Bolton, had been involved in a motorcycle accident while in Thailand to marry his fiancée Kannika Masasai. Despite being discharged from a local hospital following the accident, his family in the UK received the heartbreaking news of his sudden death on July 30.
Campbell’s family, including his 12-year-old son, are now grappling with profound grief, with his partner Kannika expressing her enduring love for him. She fondly remembers him, stating, “Death takes away the body but love remains, rest in peace my love, and you will always be in my heart.”
The couple, who had been together for two and a half years, had planned to tie the knot in Thailand. Concerns have been raised by their loved ones about the level of medical care Campbell received after the accident.
To bring Campbell’s body back to the UK, his family is facing significant financial challenges. They have initiated a JustGiving page with a target of £10,000 to cover repatriation expenses, funeral costs, and other unforeseen expenses arising from the tragic loss. The fundraising effort, led by his cousin Dianne Fisher, has already exceeded the target, reaching £10,955.
Expressing the family’s devastation, Dianne shared, “It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved Kyle Campbell. Kyle traveled to Thailand to marry his partner of two and a half years, looking forward to beginning the next chapter of their lives together.” The family is now seeking support to alleviate the financial burden of bringing Campbell back home and honoring his memory with a dignified farewell. Any contributions, no matter how small, are greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
