A search is underway for two individuals who went missing while kayaking at a beach in Wales. The men, identified as Simon and Connor, were last seen near a Haven Holiday Park heading towards the coast in North Wales. Coastguards and the RNLI have initiated a search operation, urging anyone with information on the pair’s whereabouts to contact the police.
According to a spokesperson from North Wales Police, concerns were raised when Simon and Connor were last spotted near Hafan-Y-Mor beach in Pwllheli on Tuesday evening. They were reportedly heading to the beach with inflatable kayaks. Chief Inspector Ian Roberts mentioned that officers, along with HM Coastguard, are conducting searches in the area.
