Meghan Markle recently posted a series of ‘summer holiday’ snapshots featuring Prince Harry and their children, Archie and Lilibet. The family appears to be enjoying various activities together, including beach outings, leisurely walks, and pool fun. While Meghan didn’t disclose their exact vacation spot, a photo hinting at Portugal surfaced among the images she shared on her Instagram with the caption ‘Summer Holiday ☀️’.
One of the pictures suggests a visit to Althorp, the childhood home of Princess Diana, where Lilibet, Harry, and Archie were captured strolling amidst trees and hedges. The family was also seen engaging in sea activities, sunset walks, and playful pool moments, such as Harry tossing Lilibet in the air. Additionally, a snapshot showed seven-year-old Archie playfully pretending to pilot a plane with supportive staff nearby.
Meghan made a deliberate choice not to reveal Archie and Lilibet’s faces in any of the photos to safeguard their privacy. The family had been touring Europe before Prince Harry’s solo return to the UK for the Invictus Games, as Meghan and the kids were initially planned to join him but did not.
Tensions arose between Prince Harry and Buckingham Palace regarding his accommodation arrangements during his UK visit. Conflicting statements emerged on the matter, with Harry initially accepting an offer to stay at a London residence but subsequently being informed of the withdrawal of the accommodation offer due to feasibility issues. Further statements from both Harry’s camp and the Palace defended their positions, leading to Harry opting for private lodging during his London stay.
