A tragic incident unfolded in Cyprus as a three-year-old British boy lost his life after falling from a fourth-floor hotel window. The child was playing with his father before the fatal plunge occurred. Following the incident, the 37-year-old father was apprehended by the police. The family had just arrived for a summer vacation and checked into the hotel the day before the accident.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene and transferred the child to Paphos General Hospital. Despite the medical team’s efforts, the young boy succumbed to his injuries. The grieving family, accompanied by their five-year-old daughter, is devastated by the heartbreaking event.
The father appeared in court the next morning, where authorities requested his remand in custody for eight days to aid in their ongoing investigation. Cypriot police have initiated a probe into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. A post-mortem examination was scheduled for Monday afternoon.
As the investigation continues, the area where the incident occurred remains sealed off by law enforcement.
