“Infamous Novichok Poisoning Site for Sale at £114K”

A residence connected to the infamous Russian Novichok poisoning incident is now up for sale at a price of £114,000.

Former intelligence agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia fell victim to the nerve agent attack in March 2018 in Salisbury, where the poison was applied to the door of their home. The pair were discovered found collapsed on a bench and hospitalized in critical condition before being released and provided with new identities.

Subsequently, Dawn Sturgess, aged 44, tragically passed away four months later after being unwittingly exposed to the poison when her partner gifted her a perfume bottle used in the attack. A collaborative report from MI5, MI6, GCHQ, and Counter Terrorism Policing strongly implicated Russian military intelligence in the incident, although the Kremlin has consistently denied any involvement.

The three-bedroom home previously owned by the Skripals is now being marketed on Rightmove as a contemporary family dwelling situated in a convenient yet secluded residential area.

According to real estate agency Carter & May, the property features an updated kitchen, solar panels, space for three cars in the driveway, a spacious rear garden, and close proximity to schools and transportation options.

The listing describes the ground floor as comprising a large reception room with sitting and dining areas, a modern kitchen with sleek cabinetry and appliance space, a utility room, and a convenient cloakroom.

Upstairs, three well-proportioned bedrooms share a family bathroom, offering flexibility to accommodate various buyer preferences.

A note in the listing alerts potential buyers to the property’s connection to the 2018 Novichok incident.

Following the attack, the house underwent extensive decontamination, marking one of the largest cleanup operations in peacetime British history, before being cleared for residential use.
