A man aged 51 tragically fell to his death at Madison Square Garden during a concert on Saturday night. The victim, identified as Paul Kueker, was a beloved husband and father of two from Connecticut. He plummeted 150 feet from the Chase Bridge during the Goose concert just before 10pm that evening. His mother, Patricia Finelli, described him as a kind-hearted individual who always put others before himself.
Accompanied by his wife, Kueker was attending the concert when the fatal incident occurred. He was quickly taken to Bellevue Hospital but was later pronounced dead by authorities. The concert was part of Goose’s summer tour, and the band expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy, extending sympathies to all those affected.
Witnesses at the concert reported seeing a fan fall from the upper tier to a lower level, highlighting the considerable height of the venue’s seating sections. Photos from attendees revealed the aftermath with crushed seats and police tape marking off the area. Reports indicated a distressing noise during the fall, causing shock among nearby spectators.
Despite the tragic event, Goose continued with their performance after a brief pause. Paramedics attended to the victim and transported him on a stretcher. The incident left concertgoers shaken, emphasizing the need for increased safety measures at such events.
