A prominent supporter of the MAGA movement was involved in an altercation with a woman at a London underground station, alleging that she was unfairly targeted by the police due to her association with Donald Trump.
Melissa Rein Lively, aged 40, was reported to have forcefully pulled the woman’s hair at Bond Street Underground station last October following an incident where she accidentally bumped into a pushchair carrying a child.
During the court proceedings at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, Lively agreed to a conditional caution, leading to the withdrawal of the assault charge against her. Additionally, she agreed to compensate the victim with £910.
Allegations were made that Lively’s partner, Philipp Ostermann, made racial remarks towards two sisters at the station, referring to them as “bloody Indians” and implying that they did not belong there.
In an interview with the Mail on Sunday, Lively expressed distress over the impact of the incident on her personal and professional reputation. She claimed that the British Transport Police singled her out due to her ties to Donald Trump and her previous candidacy for a position as his official press spokeswoman.
Lively, who founded the world’s first ‘anti woke’ PR agency, announced her intention to take legal action against the British Transport Police for pressing charges against her based on her public support for Trump’s MAGA platform.
The altercation occurred as two sisters, one with her children in a pushchair, encountered Ostermann and Rein Lively at the station. The prosecution noted that Ostermann and Lively seemed intoxicated and engaged in physical affection before the incident unfolded.
According to police reports, Lively forcefully grabbed one of the sisters’ hair, while Ostermann made derogatory comments and purportedly threatened them with pepper spray.
Lively disputed the police’s version of events, asserting that she believed the sisters were associated with a criminal group attempting to rob her.
Ostermann was released on unconditional bail and scheduled to appear in court on November 17 for further legal proceedings.
