“Sky Customers Experiencing Frustrating ITVX App Glitch”

Some Sky customers are facing a frustrating issue with the ITVX app where programs are skipping to the end randomly. Users have reported that the glitch started last week, causing interruptions in their viewing experience. Instead of manually fast-forwarding, viewers find themselves suddenly at the end of a show without warning.

On the Sky forum page, a user named Dazzasky complained about the ITV Player skipping ahead without reason for the past few days. Another user, Dawn, also shared a similar experience of programs jumping to the end unexpectedly, especially at the start or after ad breaks.

The problem seems to be affecting Sky’s online devices like Sky Stream boxes and Glass TVs. While it’s uncertain if Sky Q is impacted, most complaints are from users with broadband-connected devices rather than satellite dishes.

Though the cause of the issue is unknown, a Sky representative named Kev has acknowledged the problem and assured users that the company is collaborating with ITV to resolve it. Kev expressed understanding for the frustration caused by the glitch and promised updates once more information is available.

For now, users may have to tolerate the skipping problem until a solution is implemented. Mirror Online will provide updates on the situation as new developments arise.
