“Met Police Conducts Inquiry on Officers’ Misogynistic Remarks”

The Metropolitan Police has conducted an internal inquiry involving five officers from the Royalty and Specialist Protection unit following accusations of misogynistic conduct and references to “Little Hitlers.” A female staff member at Kensington Palace lodged an official complaint regarding a series of deemed “inappropriate” remarks spanning from August 2023 to September 2024, with the complaint formally submitted in October 2024, alleging that the palace was described as “full of little Hitlers.”

A spokesperson from the Met stated, “The reported behavior does not meet the high standards expected of officers, especially those in critical protective roles. In response to our internal review, the officers underwent reflective sessions to assess their behavior and extract lessons for the future.” The statement emphasized the Met’s commitment to upholding professionalism among all staff to foster trust and confidence with the public.

Although the officers’ actions did not meet the misconduct criteria, senior Royal Household personnel reportedly revoked their access passes to prevent them from future assignments at royal residences, as disclosed by The Sun. The Mirror has reached out to the Royal Household for input.
