After speculation surrounding the well-being of US President Donald Trump, the White House has released the results of his recent health assessment. Trump’s physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella, published the president’s latest medical report, describing the 79-year-old as being in “excellent health” and “fully fit.” This report follows Trump’s fourth publicly disclosed medical evaluation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center since his return to office. Dr. Barbabella emphasized that President Trump remains in excellent health with strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function, attributing his well-being to a demanding daily schedule that includes high-level meetings, public engagements, and regular physical activity.
The medical report stated that Trump’s cognitive and physical performance are excellent, confirming his full capability to fulfill all responsibilities as Commander-in-Chief and Head of State. Notably, Trump made two visits to Walter Reed in 2025, with his recent physical exam revealing a weight of 238 pounds, an increase from 224 pounds noted in his previous annual visit in April 2025.
Concerns about Trump’s health have revolved around issues such as bruising on the back of his hands, which the White House attributed to frequent hand-shaking and aspirin use for cardiovascular prevention. Additionally, Trump achieved a perfect score of 30 out of 30 in the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a standard test for detecting memory problems or cognitive impairment.
It is customary for presidents to undergo one annual trip to Walter Reed, but Trump’s additional visit in 2025 raised eyebrows, with one initially stated as an MRI appointment but later revealed to be for a CT scan. The latest health assessment has reassured the public about President Trump’s fitness and well-being.
