“Bronson Eyes Freedom: Parole Bid for 25 Years of Liberty”

Notorious inmate Charles Bronson is aiming for a shot at 25 years of freedom through a new parole application on the horizon. The armed robber, who has been incarcerated for over five decades, envisions the possibility of release at the age of 75, starting with residence in a probation hostel as a step towards full-time freedom.

At 73 years old, Bronson, determined not to spend his life behind bars, anticipates his upcoming parole hearing in November with a sense of optimism. Expressing his hopes to a friend, he mentioned his desire for a transition to a less restrictive custody level, emphasizing that he believes he has earned a chance for a reprieve in life.

Although the likelihood of release this year seems slim, Bronson is focused on building on the progress he has made in recent years. Looking ahead, a potential release at 75 could grant him 25 years of liberty, contrasting with the extensive time he has spent incarcerated. A source close to him highlighted his commitment to seizing this opportunity as a second chance at life.

The Parole Board confirmed that an oral hearing has been scheduled for the review of Charles Salvador (formerly known as Charles Bronson) in November 2026. The Board’s decisions revolve around assessing the potential risk to the public upon a prisoner’s release and the manageability of that risk in the community. A thorough evaluation process will consider various factors, including the nature of the original offense, behavioral changes, and the impact on victims.

Bronson’s criminal history dates back to 1974 when he was first imprisoned for armed robbery and wounding at 22 years old. Despite a brief release in 1987, he was re-incarcerated the following year for another robbery. Infamous for his violent actions against prison staff and inmates, he has been characterized as Britain’s most violent prisoner.

Currently housed at HMP Wakefield, known as Monster Mansion for its population of serious offenders, Bronson awaits his parole hearing with the hope of a different outcome this time. His tumultuous past, marked by multiple sieges and a series of violent incidents, has shaped his lengthy prison tenure.
