Apple’s Services Soar: Record Growth in Music, TV, and More

Apple’s MacBook laptops, iPad tablets, and iPhones are well-known, but the company’s services are gaining popularity. Apple has reported a successful year with a surge in users on its music, TV streaming, and news platforms.

Apple Music, now accessible on iOS and Android, had a stellar year in 2025, setting new records for listenership and new subscribers. Updates like Lyrics Translation and AutoMix enhanced the streaming service, providing a personalized DJ experience.

Apple TV’s engagement spiked, with users spending 36% more time on shows like Slow Horses and The Studio. The platform added new content, including the F1 film starring Brad Pitt and the top-rated drama Pluribus.

The App Store also thrived, attracting over 850 million weekly users globally. During the holiday season, the store saw a peak in visitors and spending on digital goods. Apple Podcasts also hit a record high in listeners, plays, and subscribers.

Apple expanded its services further by introducing Apple Fitness+ in more regions and adding over 50 games to Apple Arcade. The Share Item Location feature in Find My expanded to 27 additional airlines, reducing lost luggage cases significantly.

Apple Maps enhanced its Detailed City Experience in new locations like New Orleans, Singapore, and Monaco, featuring 3D landmarks such as the F1 Monaco Grand Prix circuit.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services, stated, “2025 was a remarkable year for Apple services, marked by growth, global reach, and innovation. We strived to enhance users’ daily lives with engaging experiences across our platforms.
