The Vancouver Goldeneyes are gearing up for their second season in the Professional Women’s Hockey League with new jerseys that have excited the team’s captain, Ashton Bell. The redesigned jersey showcases the team’s logo, featuring a golden eye with wings, and includes intricate details such as bronze lines on the sleeves and logo outlines within the numbers on the back.
The team’s new jersey design incorporates elements that symbolize both the city and the team’s identity, according to forward Jenn Gardiner. The Goldeneyes, who finished their first season with a 9-3-4-14 record, missed the playoffs but secured the first overall pick in the PWHL entry draft. They chose standout American defender Caroline (KK) Harvey.
The Goldeneyes will debut their new jerseys on December 5 when they face the Seattle Torrent in their season opener. Bell anticipates seeing the arena filled with fans donning the refreshed uniforms, creating a special atmosphere for the team. The Goldeneyes’ logo is prominently displayed throughout their home rink, the Pacific Coliseum, which Gardiner views as a unique and cherished aspect of playing for the team.
