“FAA Investigating Delta-Air Canada Plane Collision”

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is currently conducting an investigation following an incident at Los Angeles International Airport where a Delta Air Lines aircraft made contact with an Air Canada plane on Tuesday morning. The FAA reported that the event occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. local time while the Delta aircraft was taxiing for takeoff and the Air Canada plane was being towed to the gate.

According to an Air Canada representative, there were no injuries reported. Sean Davidson, in a statement, mentioned that the Air Canada Flight 785 had just arrived from Toronto when it was struck by another airline’s aircraft on the tail section. The affected plane will undergo inspection and necessary repairs.

The FAA disclosed that the left wingtip of the Delta plane made contact with the horizontal stabilizer of the Air Canada aircraft, which is a wing-like structure located at the rear of the plane.
