The daughter of the legendary musician Freddie Mercury, who was kept secret until the release of a revealing book last year, has passed away at the age of 48.
Known only as B, the undisclosed daughter of the Queen icon was brought to light prior to the publication of a book titled Love, Freddie. She shared her connection to the rock star with author and music journalist Lesley-Ann Jones, but her true identity remains undisclosed.
Following the shocking revelation last year, the undisclosed daughter of the famous musician has sadly passed away at the age of 48, just three years older than her father was when he died in 1991. Her family confirmed her peaceful passing after battling a rare spinal cancer called chordoma, leaving behind two young sons aged nine and seven.
Her widower, Thomas, stated to the Daily Mail, “B is now reunited with her beloved father in the realm of thoughts. Her ashes were scattered over the Alps.”

Lesley-Ann added, “At the end of her life, revealing the truth was her priority. Despite her illness, she remained focused on this mission, putting her own needs last.”
Last year, it was disclosed that Freddie had a secret child from an affair in 1976. Lesley-Ann Jones, after years of collaboration with Freddie’s only child, described the process of uncovering the hidden side of the rock star as a privilege.
Further details about the secret daughter have emerged after her passing, including Freddie’s endearing nicknames for her and how he wrote songs about her. Songs like Don’t Try So Hard and Bijou are believed to have been inspired by his special bond with his undisclosed daughter.
