Felix Auger-Aliassime, ranked fourth globally, leads the Canadian team for the upcoming Davis Cup qualifiers in Quebec City next month. Tennis Canada announced that he will be accompanied by Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario.
Canada, holding the 12th position in the competition, is set to face off against France, currently ranked sixth, in a best-of-five match at the Videotron Centre. The victorious team will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals scheduled for November.
In the previous round of qualifiers in February, Canada secured a narrow 3-2 victory over Brazil, while France earned their spot by defeating Slovakia with a score of 3-1.
