“Body in Suitcase: Two Arrested in Murder Case”

In a murder investigation, a man’s body, identified as 34-year-old Dale Mundell from Islington, was found in a suitcase in a wooded area in Borstal, Kent. This discovery followed a police visit to Kingfisher Court in Wimbledon, prompted by concerns for a man’s welfare.

Although the property was empty, authorities suspected foul play and initiated an inquiry. Two suspects were apprehended on Friday and have since appeared in court. Joshua Miller, 32, from Wimbledon, faces charges of murder and obstructing a lawful burial, while Jamie Cooper, 27, also from Wimbledon, is charged with obstructing a lawful burial.

Both suspects had connections to the victim, Dale Mundell. The Metropolitan Police confirmed the incident, stating that the investigation is ongoing. The victim’s family is receiving support from specialized officers.

The police were alerted about the welfare of a man at an address in Wimbledon on July 9th. After a search, it was determined that harm had occurred, leading to the subsequent discovery of Dale Mundell’s body. The suspects were charged and remanded into custody after appearing in court on July 13th.
