A woman who had a past fling with Prince Harry was recently arrested in Majorca for allegedly leaving a hotel without paying a bill of nearly £450. Catherine Ommanney, aged 53 and known for her appearance on reality TV, was apprehended on suspicion of fraud following a report from the hotel manager. The incident occurred at the Playas del Rey Hotel in Santa Ponsa, where she stayed for nine days but allegedly did not settle the bill amounting to over €500 (£434).
Police sources have confirmed the arrest, and Catherine appeared before a judge in Palma, Majorca, where she was released on bail pending further investigation. Reports suggest that she used a card with insufficient funds to book her stay at the hotel.
Although it is unclear if Catherine has provided an explanation for the incident in court, she has denied the allegations, stating that the bill was paid in full and attributing the situation to a technical error by the hotel. Authorities are yet to confirm the resolution of the case or drop the investigation.
Catherine, an interior designer and a former cast member of Real Housewives of DC, made headlines in 2022 when she revealed details of her brief relationship with Prince Harry back in 2006. She described Harry as a gentleman and spoke fondly of their time together, mentioning that they remained friendly after the romance ended.
