“Royal Granddaughter Lady Louise Windsor Graduates University in Style”

Lady Louise Windsor recently graduated from the University of St Andrews, marking the occasion with her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh. The 22-year-old, who is the youngest granddaughter of the late Queen, completed her English and international relations degree after four years of study in Scotland. To commemorate her achievement, new photos have been released, one showing her in her graduation robe with her degree certificate and another with her parents, Sophie and Prince Edward.

During her graduation, Lady Louise participated in the university’s traditional ‘capping’ ritual, witnessed by her proud parents. Following her graduation, she was seen with her boyfriend, fellow student Felix da Silva-Clamp. Lady Louise is now planning a gap year involving work, volunteering, and travel endeavors.

Lady Louise’s future plans include receiving her Duke of Edinburgh’s gold award, presented by her father Edward, at a special celebration in Edinburgh. This holds significance as it coincides with the 70th anniversary of the award’s founding by her late grandfather Prince Philip and 40 years since her father’s involvement in supporting the youth adventure scheme.

Born prematurely in 2003, Lady Louise has largely grown up away from the public eye, along with her brother James, the Earl of Wessex. Despite attending significant royal events, they are not expected to pursue full-time royal duties like their parents. Lady Louise’s mother, Sophie, expressed that it is unlikely for both Louise and James to adopt their HRH titles upon turning 18.

During her university years, Lady Louise engaged in the University Officer Training Corps and may become the first female royal to pursue a military career since Queen Elizabeth II served in the Auxiliary Territorial Service. Additionally, she shares a passion for carriage driving, following in the footsteps of her grandfather, Prince Philip.

Lady Louise’s dedication to her studies and unique interests have garnered attention, making her a notable figure within the royal family.
