A postal worker from Royal Mail was filmed urinating outside a residence in Nottingham. The incident, captured by a Ring doorbell camera, occurred in Wollaton around 11:30 am on a Saturday when no one was home. The footage shows the postman relieving himself against a wall near a garden gate.
The homeowner’s mother expressed being alerted by the camera but missed confronting the postman as he had already left. She mentioned the presence of a nearby Post Office, questioning the necessity of the act considering the proximity.
While understanding the possible urgency, the homeowner was disappointed that the postman did not attempt to seek alternatives or communicate with neighbors. Royal Mail issued an apology and assured an investigation into the matter to prevent such incidents in the future.
A spokesperson for Royal Mail stated that the behavior displayed was not in line with their expected standards and emphasized the ongoing investigation.
