A man in his twenties was discovered deceased at a popular park in Lancashire. Emergency responders swiftly arrived at Williamson Park in Lancaster on the morning of Friday, June 19, after receiving reports of an unresponsive man.
According to Lancashire Police, the man was tragically pronounced dead at the scene, prompting the immediate closure of the area as paramedics attended to the situation. The authorities mentioned that there were no indications of foul play associated with the incident.
In an official statement released today, a spokesperson for Lancashire Police stated, “We received a call at 7:55 am on Friday, June 19, regarding an unresponsive man at Williamson Park, Wyresdale Road, Lancaster. Emergency services responded, and regrettably, the man in his twenties was declared deceased at the scene.”
The spokesperson added, “Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. The incident is not deemed suspicious, and a report will be prepared for HM Coroner.”
