“England Fans Embark on Journey to Dallas for World Cup Debut”

England supporters from various parts of the world were making their way to Dallas through different modes of transportation in anticipation of England’s World Cup debut against Croatia.

Among them is 41-year-old Sam Bannister from Leeds, who is traveling overnight from Kansas City to Dallas, facing an eight-hour, 500-mile road journey to make it in time for the 3 pm kick-off. He expressed excitement about the road trip and shared his anticipation for the match.

Fan groups estimated that around 10,000 English fans will be present at the game and cautioned about the expected high temperatures during the match.

Chris, accompanied by his friend Chris Thomas, is another traveler from Leeds. Chris, who runs a street food business named ‘Brit Boy’ in Kansas City, will be joined by fellow Brit Kye Martey and his American wife Sandi for the journey.

George Smith, a finance worker and Exeter City fan now residing in San Diego, is also heading to the England group matches. He plans to meet with other English supporters based in different parts of the world. George, 42, is taking his son Charlie, 11, to the games and intends to bring his Mexican-born wife, Monica, to the Azteca stadium if England faces Mexico in the Round of 16.

Having spent approximately $7,000 (£5,178) on tickets for himself and his family, George’s expenses may increase to £12,000 depending on England’s progress in the tournament.
