“Ukrainian Forces Launch Coordinated Strikes in Russia and Crimea”

Ukrainian military forces have conducted targeted strikes on oil facilities and a passenger train in a series of coordinated attacks spanning Russia and the Russian-occupied region of Crimea, according to official reports.

A significant plume of smoke emerged from the Grushovaya oil trans-shipment base, where Russian authorities mobilized 130 firefighters to extinguish the resulting flames.

Simultaneously, an unmanned Ukrainian aerial vehicle launched an attack on a passenger train en route from Moscow to Simferopol in Crimea, leading to injuries to the train driver and the tragic death of the driver’s assistant, as confirmed by Sergei Aksyonov, the Kremlin-appointed leader in the region.

In response to the incident, all passenger train operations in Crimea were ceased, with passengers evacuated and alternative bus transportation arranged by the Russian operator Grand Service Express via Telegram.

The Russian Defence Ministry disclosed that their forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 310 Ukrainian drones overnight, targeting various regions including Moscow, western and south-western Russia, Russian-occupied Crimea, and the Black and Azov seas.

Conversely, Russia launched 155 drones toward Ukraine, but the Ukrainian Air Force reported that they managed to eliminate or neutralize 124 of the incoming threats.

Ukrainian military forces were reported to have struck the Krasnodar Krai region of Russia during the night, particularly targeting the Grushovaya oil trans-shipment base near Novorossiysk, a crucial hub for oil and petroleum product transfers in southern Russia.

While regional Russian authorities confirmed the drone-induced fire at the facility, they assured no casualties occurred. Efforts to contain the blaze involved 130 rescue personnel and 39 pieces of firefighting equipment.

Additionally, the General Staff of Ukraine acknowledged strikes on the Krasny Yar “linear production and dispatching station” in the Volgograd region, resulting in a fire outbreak. Although the facility’s exact operations were not specified by Russian governor Andrei Bocharov, he confirmed no injuries were reported.

Further attacks were directed at the Semykolodezkaya oil base located in the Russian-occupied Crimean Peninsula, causing another fire. The facility is known for storing fuel reserves essential for supplying the Russian military, according to an official statement posted on Telegram. Ukrainian forces also targeted an oil depot near Feodosia in Crimea, as detailed by the General Staff.
