A tragic incident unfolded in south London as a three-year-old child lost their life after falling from a building in Sutton. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene on Sunday following reports of the fall. The young child was rushed to the hospital but sadly did not survive.
Authorities disclosed that a woman in her 30s has been detained on suspicion of child neglect in connection with the incident. The Metropolitan Police confirmed the ongoing investigation and mentioned that the woman has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
According to witnesses, the toddler fell from a second-story window in a residential complex. The Metropolitan Police reported receiving the distress call at 17:18hrs on the same day, and emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, promptly responded. The family of the deceased child has been informed of the tragic event.
